welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image.

Chair - Carolyn Boyd, Stetson
Carolyn Boyd was elected Chair of the A-Sun SAAC in May of 2010. As Chair, she is also the Conference representative to the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Her duties include representing the A-Sun at all NCAA SAAC Meetings and leading the A-Sun SAAC by chairing meetings and keeping the SAAC updated on conference and national issues involving student-athletes. She also serves as the SAAC representative to the NCAA Division I Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct Committee. Boyd is President of Stetson University's SAAC, serves as a Stetson FOCUS Orientation Leader, and is a member of Stetson's University Athletics Committee. A first baseman on Stetson's softball team, Boyd has earned A-Sun all-academic honors each of the last two years. Vice Chair - Libby Hansch, Mercer
Libby Hansch is the current president of the Mercer University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and also serves as Vice Chair of the A-Sun SAAC. A senior majoring in Business with a minor in Media Studies, she has earned Atlantic Sun All-Academic honors each year and is also a member of the national collegiate honor society Phi Eta Sigma. The Colorado native is an active leader on and off campus. She volunteers at a local elementary school to teach volleyball and cultivate a spirit of teamwork and leadership. Her contributions as part of the college community of student athletes has also helped Mercer University earn recognition as a three time conference leader in raising money for charity (the American Cancer Society). In addition to her excellence in the classroom and service, Libby is committed to excellence in volleyball. In addition to her sports accolades, she has been named a National Strength and Conditioning All-American and earned gold medal status for Mercer’s strength and conditioning wall of fame. Secretary - Erin Mankin, Belmont
Senior Erin Mankin is a six-time Academic All-Conference honoree for the Belmont women's cross country and track and field teams. After earning All-State honors while leading Father Ryan High School to district and regional championships, Mankin has recorded numerous top 20 performances as a distance runner on the track. The Nashville native has also been a part of two Atlantic Sun Championships, helping the Bruins to the top of the league in 2007 and 2008. Mankin is majoring in Accounting.
